Community Action at MCUUF

Volunteers needed for STEM program in The Dalles High School next school year
... Next school year (2012-2013) The Dalles high school is starting a project-based learning program in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math ( STEM ), and volunteers are needed to assist the students. The students will work in teams to create and execute hardware-based projects. Volunteers will commit to support at least two class days per month for one hour per class. No math or technical experience is required. For more information, contact Brian Goodwin at 541-288-6861.

Every month, the Oregon Food Bank Food Truck delivers food to the Hood River FISH Site. We don't have the exact date yet for the next shipment. So please check back. As always we will be looking for volunteers who will be able to give an hour to help unload. Remember it does take a strong back and arms.
