Welcome Visitors

Welcome and thank you for visiting. We welcome you, whoever you are, whatever your spiritual tradition, gender, race, economic status, sexual orientation, or age.

The Mid-Columbia Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is a religious community serving residents and visitors of the Columbia River Gorge. We are one of over a thousand congregations who make up the Unitarian Universalist Association. Our members and friends come from many areas in both Oregon and Washington state, including Parkdale, Hood River, Mosier, The Dalles, White Salmon, Bingen, Dallesport, Carson, Stevenson and Murdock. We are a growing Fellowship and welcome visitors. Child care is provided for young children, and there are religious education classes and faith development programs for children and youth during the Sunday services. Beyond our time together Sunday mornings, we also work together to serve our community, to support each other in times of change and distress, and to grow spiritually through music, art, play, study, and reflection.

  • We believe that personal experience, conscience and reason should be the final authorities in religion.
  • We affirm the worth of all people.
  • We celebrate and honor diversity in opinion, religious belief and life choices.
  • We seek to act as a moral force in the world believing that ethical living is the supreme witness of religion.
  • We know that our relationships with one another and among all people should be governed by justice, equity and compassion.

We appreciate your interest in our faith community. There are multiple ways you can explore our Fellowship. We always welcome visitors when we meet on Sundays at 10am at the Rockford Grange, 4262 Barrett Rd in Hood River map and directions.
